Вивчення логіки як умова розвитку критичного мислення у здобувачів вищої освіти

Abstract

У статті розкрито особливості розвитку критичного мислення. Основні умови та шляхи побудови освітнього процесу для ефективного розвитку критичного мислення у здобувачів вищої освіти. Метою дослідження є процес розвитку критичного мислення на основі вивчення навчального матеріалу з логіки здобувачами вищої освіти. Методологія дослідження базується на сучасних освітньо-наукових підходах щодо розвитку мислення, розвитку критичного мислення, активного пізнання й оцінки навколишнього середовища, здатності аналізу ділових ситуацій і проблем, розвитку професійних навичок прийняття поточних та стратегічних управлінських рішень тощо. Наукова новизна: доведено, що умовою розвитку критичного мислення здобувачів вищої освіти є вивчення логіки, розв’язання проблемних завдань. Висновки. Заняття з логіки дають великий спектр потрібних проблемних завдань для розвитку критичного мислення здобувачів вищої освіти. Завдання з логіки можуть передбачати як елементарні підрахунки, так і завдання зіскладними обрахунками, як наочні приклади, так і хитромудрі абстракції, тривалі пошуки від «загального» та миттєва концентрація великого обсягу інформації в тезі, загальноприйняті стереотипи та пошук розв’язання проблемних ситуацій. Головною умовою розвитку критичного мислення на заняттях з логіки має бути виконання здобувачами певним чином побудованого завдання. Завдання з логіки може бути стандартним чи нестандартним, математичним чи не дуже. Головне – щоб нестандартне логічне завдання мало в собі якусь несподіванку, оригінальний характер: чи це незвичайна умова завдання, чи оригінальна ідея, чи несподіване розв’язання. Для виконання такого типу завдань важливим є вміння «побачити» глибину завдання, виділити головне із загальних деталей. Логіка сприяє відточенню навичок раціонального аналізу, критичного оцінювання інформаційного потоку. Логіка є необхідним інструментом розвитку критичного мислення людини. The article reveals the features of the critical thinking development and addresses to the main conditions and ways of building an educational process for the effective development of critical thinking in students of higher education. The purpose of the study is the process of critical thinking development based on the study of educational material on logic by students of higher education. The research methodology is based on modern educational and scientific approaches to the development of thinking, the development of critical thinking, active cognition and assessment of the environment, the ability to analyze business situations and problems, the development of professional skills for making current and strategic management decisions, etc. Scientific novelty: it has been proven that the condition for the development of critical thinking of students of higher education is the study of logic, solving problematic tasks. Conclusions. Classes in logic provide a wide range of necessary problem tasks for the development of critical thinking of students of higher education. Tasks in logic can involve both elementary calculations and tasks with complex calculations, both illustrative examples and sophisticated abstractions, long searches from the “general” and instant concentration of a large amount of information in the thesis, generally accepted stereotypes and the search for a solution to problem situations. The main condition for the development of critical thinking in logic classes should be the solving of a task constructed in a certain way by students. A logic task can be standard or non-standard, mathematical or not so much. The main thing is that a non-standard logical task should have some kind of surprise in it, should have an original character - whether it is an unusual condition of the task, an original idea, an unexpected solution. The ability to see the depth of the task, to distinguish the main from general details is important for solving this type of tasks. Logic contributes to sharpening the skills of rational analysis, critical evaluation of the information flow. Logic is a necessary tool for the development of a person’s critical thinking.
