Національно-патріотичне виховання молоді західної української діаспори як педагогічна проблема

Abstract

У статті висвітлено актуальну проблему національно-патріотичного виховання молоді в умовах сучасних суспільних трансформацій в Україні та систематизовано педагогічний досвід української західної діаспори. Метою дослідження є аналіз ідей, підходів та виховних концепцій, сформованих українськими педагогами в еміграційному середовищі, у контексті їх значення для розвитку національно-патріотичного виховання. Актуальність теми обумовлена необхідністю посилення національної свідомості молоді, збереження історичної пам’яті, мови, культури й духовних цінностей українського народу в умовах воєнних викликів, глобалізації та інформаційного впливу. Методологічну основу дослідження становлять загальнонаукові та спеціальні методи, зокрема аналіз, синтез, узагальнення, історико-педагогічний і порівняльний аналіз, що дали змогу системно осмислити педагогічні ідеї українських діячів західної діаспори та виявити провідні тенденції розвитку національно-патріотичного виховання молоді. У процесі дослідження розкрито сутність національно-патріотичного виховання як цілісного, багатовимірного процесу, спрямованого на формування національної свідомості, громадянської відповідальності та духовно-моральних якостей особистості. У результаті дослідження встановлено, що педагогічний доробок українських діячів західної діаспори характеризується системністю, ціннісною спрямованістю та орієнтацією на консолідацію виховних зусиль родини, освітніх інституцій, громадських організацій і церкви. Виокремлено ключові ідеї національно-патріотичного виховання, серед яких провідне місце посідають виховання любові до Батьківщини, збереження рідної мови й культури, формування історичної пам’яті та почуття відповідальності за майбутнє української нації.Практична цінність статті полягає в розширенні теоретичних уявлень про національно-патріотичне виховання та можливості використання узагальненого діаспорного педагогічного досвіду в наукових дослідженнях, освітніх програмах і виховній роботі з молоддю. Зроблено висновок про значущість ідей українських педагогів західної діаспори для подальшого розвитку теорії національно-патріотичного виховання та поглиблення наукового осмислення цієї проблеми в сучасних умовах. The article highlights the urgent issue of national and patriotic education of youth in the context of contemporary social transformations in Ukraine and systematizes the pedagogical experience of the Western Ukrainian diaspora. The purpose of the study is to analyze the ideas, approaches, and educational concepts developed by Ukrainian educators in the émigré environment, considering their significance for the development of national and patriotic education. The relevance of the topic is determined by the need to strengthen national consciousness among young people, preserve historical memory, language, culture, and spiritual values of the Ukrainian people under conditions of military challenges, globalization, and information influence. The methodological basis of the research consists of general scientific and special methods, including analysis, synthesis, generalization, historical-pedagogical and comparative analysis, which made it possible to systematically comprehend the pedagogical ideas of Ukrainian figures of the Western diaspora and to identify the leading trends in the development of national and patriotic education of youth. In the course of the study, the essence of national and patriotic education is revealed as a holistic, multidimensional process aimed at forming national consciousness, civic responsibility, and spiritual and moral qualities of the individual. The results of the study show that the pedagogical heritage of Ukrainian figures of the Western diaspora is characterized by systematicity, value orientation, and a focus on consolidating the educational efforts of the family, educational institutions, public organizations, and the church. Key ideas of national and patriotic education are identified, among which the leading ones are fostering love for the Motherland, preserving the native language and culture, forming historical memory, and developing a sense of responsibility for the future of the Ukrainian nation. The practical significance of the article lies in expanding theoretical understandings of national and patriotic education and the possibilities of using the generalized pedagogical experience of the diaspora in scientific research, educational programs, and youth educational work. The article concludes that the ideas of Ukrainian educators of the Western diaspora are important for the further development of the theory of national and patriotic education and for deepening the scientific understanding of this problem in contemporary conditions.
